Ice Breaker.

My name is Lindsay and this is my first blog. ever. It’s kind of like standing in front of your class on the first day of school, not feeling at all confident in yourself and having to “break the ice”. I mean really, there is NOTHING interesting about me. At least nothing I want to mention to a bunch of people I don’t know, don’t like or people that already know weird things about me anyways. I’ve never been one for standing and having to speak in front of large crowds, or small ones for that matter. You wouldn’t believe that I was in show choir (with leading roles/solos might I add) throughout middle school. I even danced recreationally and competively for 16 years of my life. You might ask, “You? Nervous?”. The answer is YES. Don’t get me wrong I have become very confident in not so confident areas of my life and there are some areas I have always been incredibly confident and even more areas that I still need to work on.

Life has been hard, a roller coaster if you will. Ups and downs, toss and turns, purely terrifying dark tunnels and breathtaking views of the funnel cake stand nearby all tangled up in the last 27 years of my trips around the sun. I won’t get in to all of my life stories just yet, I mean this is the icebreaker after all, right? By starting this blog I hope to tell some interesting stories, ask and even answer some questions but most importantly help others realize thier potential to be a stronger and more confident them and maybe along the way find that for myself too.
